Joint Church Service

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 8. About 350 Anglicans, Methodists and Presbyterians attended St Peter’s Anglican Church in Wellington today for a three-hour service. The service was believed to be the first time churches in Wellington had united to commemorate Good Friday. The service was arranged to include some elements from Presbyterian and Methodist forms of worship. The vicar of St Peter’s (the Rev. G. Wilson) led the renewal of baptism vows. Father G. Cutis, ■of the, Community of the Resurrection. an Anglican order with I headquarters in Yorkshire. ! conducted the service.
