Anglican View Attacked (N Z. Press Assn —Copyright) SYDNEY, April 10. A statement by three Anglican bishops of Sydney supporting Australia’s involvement in Vietnam has been attacked by the superintendent of the Central Methodist Mission, the Rev. Alan Walker. He said the statement was “out of accord with the general trend of Christian thought” Mr Walker said the endorsement on the eve of Good Friday of conscription and the Vietnam war, by the bishops, had distressed many Christians.
