Applications are invited for the position of Director of the Unit. Applicants should have qualifications in relevant mathematical and statistical theory and in at least one of the Social Sciences, together with considerable practical experience in the conduct, administration and management of sample surveys. The person appointed will be primarily concerned with the administration of the Unit, but there should be opportunities for teaching in appropriate academic departments.
