Heart Surgery At Green Lane (N.Z. Presto Association) AUCKLAND. April 8. A nine-day-old boy, suffering from a congenital heart condition, was flown from Palmerston North to Auckland today for heart surgery at Green Lane Hospital.

The baby, Scott Donald Caldow, was brought to Auckland in a twin-engined Apache aircraft, and taken to hospital in an ambulance equipped with a portable incubator. Hospital authorities said tonight the baby’s condition was “only fair.”
