Tobias Picked In First Leg ff The Press” Special Service AUCKLAND. The fine Pukekohe three-year-old, Tobias, is fancied for the Haweta Trotting Cup, the first leg of the T.A.B. double on the opening day of the Hawera Trotting Club’s three-day Easter meeting on Saturday. The fact that Tobias is bracketed with Misty Prince will have an added appeal for bettors. Misty Prince is a solid stayer but he is very unreliable from a standing start. His four wins this season have all been in races started with the mobile barrier. The three South Island horses in the field, On Probation, Epona and Gold Boots, will carry good support. On Probation may be the best of them. He has raced consistently this season and won at Rangiora at his last appearance. Others with good prospects include Dark Omen, Everplay, and Wee Herb.
