U.E.B. Recover Slightly On Brisker Turn-over
. United Empire Box tenuously regained some lost ground in brisker turn-over in yesterday’s trading. After another day of fluctuations U.E. Box closed the day 3d up at Ils in Auckland and Christchurch, with Wellington sales at 10s lid. Trading in Ross and Glendining was much quieter and the stock closed at 12s in Christchurch, Auckland and Wellington, but 3d lower at Ils 9d in Dunedin. The market held the same firm tone as the day before on higher turn-over and over a wider range of issues.
