Golf Ball Factory To Fill Gap

The 50 per cent reduction of all licences to import golf balls will not result in a nationwide shortage.

Randles, general manager of the general rubber goods division of Dunlop (N.Z.), Ltd., in Christchurch yesterday. “Although sports bodies throughout New Zealand are anxious at the impending shortage, Dunlop will be producing balls in the near future,” said Mr Randles. “The building has already been constructed at Wools ton! and the equipment should be installed by June 5, subject l to shipping delays.
