Work Continues Around Clock (HZ. Press Association) GREYMOUTH, April 6. The chief inspector of mines (Mr R. Marshall, of Wellington) today visited the coalmine near Reefton where a miner, reported missing on Monday morning after the mine flooded, is still trapped. Rescuers continue to work around the clock in a bid to reach the miner, James William Cooper, though his chances of survival are slim. The Reefton district manager of State mines (Mr D. F. Brown) and Reefton police, reported at 10 o’clock tonight that they had heard of no new developments.
