“Bass Story A Hoax”
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. April 6. The Minister of Marine (Mr Scott) said today he believed reports of the liberation of large-mouth bass in New Zealand lakes and rivers had resulted from a hoax. Mr Scott, who offered a reward eight days ago for information'leading to the conviction of the person responsible for liberating bass, said he had received no claims for the reward.
