The consistent Quality Inn could gain an overdue win in the Greymouth Cup. the first leg of the T.A.B. double on the second night of the Greymouth Trotting Club's autumn meeting today. Our Smokey, a stylish winner in a slower class, Lornaway, Richard Hanover and Allakasam appeal most of the others. Thunderina. Lofty and Blue Pin form a likely trio in the second leg, the Westland Handicap. An on-course double will be run on the Blenheim Handicap and the Buller Handicap. Unsettled weather is forecast and the track could be rather heavy.
