Canterbury, winners of the 1965 Freyberg Rose Bowl golf tournament, will play Bay of Plenty in the opening match of the 1966 tournament, to be held at the Grange Golf Club. Auckland, on May 12, 13 and 14. The draw, which was released by the New Zealand Golf Association yesterday is: First Round.—Auckland v. Waikato, Bay Of Plenty v. Can- [ terbury, Buller-Westland-Marl-borough-Nelson v. Otago, Hawke’s Bay v. Taranaki, Mana-watu-Wanganui v. Northland. Mid-South Canterbury v. Wellington. Second Round.—Auckland v. Hawke’s Bay. Bay Of Plenty v Otago Butler Combined v. Can terburv. Manawatu-Wanganui v. Mid-South Canterbury. Northland v. Wellington, Taranaki v Waikato.

Third Round.—Auckland v. Canterbury Bay Of Plenty v. Mid-South -Canterbury, Buller Combined v. Northland, Hawke’s Bay v. Manawatu-Wanganui. Otago v. Taranaki, Waikato v. Wellington. Fourth Round.—Auckland v Otago, Bay Of Plenty v. Northland, Buller Combined v. MidSouth Canterbury, Taranaki v. Canterbury, Hawke’s Bay v. Wellington, Manawatu-Wanganui V. Waikato.
