Cooking Hints Included With Marital Advice
(Special Correspondent N.Z.P.A.)
LONDON, April 5. Nutritional advice to keep husbands fit and an article by the Bishop of Woolwich, Dr. Robinson, on sex, are offered by the British Medical Association in its eleventh annual guide for young people, “Getting Married.” Conscious of the dangers of obesity and coronary disease, the B.M.A. is giving free with its marital advice a booklet entitled “Feed Him Well and Keep Him Fit.” It wants to recruit new wives for disease prevention.
“A male mountain of flesh at 40,” says the booklet’s author. Dr. Eric Trimmer, “is a terrible indictment of mismanagement in the kitchen.
The Bishop writes that young people “want honesty in sex, as in everything else. And that’s what chastity is." To use sex “for kicks, or out of fear of being thought a square, when there’s no genuine feeling for each other behind it, is a fearful desecration.”
