Too much truth can spoil a marriage, says Professor John Cohen, of Manchester University.
Professor Cohen believes that many marriages are wrecked because young couples tell all much too soon, only to find that mystery has been replaced by boredom. Professor Cohen suggests that “little secrets” are vital to married happiness.
