MILITARY BALLOT
11 November Dates Drawn (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 5. Scorpios, 20-year-olds born in November, had the highest number of calls in today’s ballot for national military ser- ' vice. There were 11 dates for November of a total of 34 for November 1,1945. to February 2 Q . 1946. December had the second highest in the ballot with nine calls, followed by January with eight and February with six. Those born on the first day of each month of the months covered were drawn. The numbers were drawn by the president of the Returned Services Association (Mr H. Mitchell). Ballot results were: November: 1,3, 6,7, 14, 15. 17, 21, 23, 25, 27. December: 1,2, 5, 10, 11, 14. 19, 21, 23. January: 1,3, 9, 13, 15, 22, 25 27 February: 1,6, 16, 25, 27. 28. Most trainees balloted today can be expected to be called for the 14th camp in September. Some will not be called until January, 1967.
