Court Orders Maintenance
Mr Justice Wilson yesterday granted permanent maintenance of £l3 a week and a lump sum payment of £lOOO to Kathleen Mary Stevens, of Auckland, to support herself after her divorce from Charles Clinton Stevens, a retired naval officer of Christchurch.
His Honour found that the petitioner’s claim for a lump sum of £2OOO seemed to be high and substantially more than would be received on an application under the Family Protection Act. Will Varied
Mr Justice Wilson also varied the will of the late Clarence James Berryman to allow the sum of £1750 to be paid to a daughter, Violet Perfect, who had been excluded from the will.
