Pope) reported at the annual meeting. j The meeting was held in i the club’s new rooms in Armagh street. The rooms cost £19.861 and were offi cially opened last October. Plans had been made tc complete the furnishing oi ;the lounge and tutors’ room 'Mr Pope said, and linoleum had recently been laid in the i tutors’ room and storeroom Coffee tables in the lounge and stainless-steel trays for 'the kitchen would soon be ] provided. The club’s finances were ir a good position, in spite oi heavy expenditure on the rooms, he said. Officers elected were:— Patron, the Mayor (Mr G Manning): president, Mr V Pope: vice-president. Mrs M Coutts; secretary*. Mr M Ward; treasurer. Mr J. Bry son: sports master, Mr R Townsend: liaison officer. Mrs D. Herrick; honorary solici tor. Mr H. P. Smith: honorary auditor, Mr J. L. Neale: com mittee, Misses S. Chilton ane H. Williams, and Messrs K Williams. R. Jenkin, and R Shekelton.
