Invitation Race To Smokeover
(N.I. Preu Atun.—Copyright) PHILADELPHIA. Smokeover, a New Zealand Import, driven by W. Haughton, won the 10,000-dollar Invitation Race by a nose on Saturday evening at the Liberty Bell harness track. Smokeover. which ran a mile in 2min 22-4 sec, edged out Afton Red at the wire.
