Unfinished Tribute
While in Sydney the other week the London Symphony Orchestra played Schubert’s “Unfinished” Symphony in the unfinished opera house. Construction noises stopped and steel workers in safety helmets peered through the gaps in the raw concrete walls while the 98 members of the orchestra rehearsed for more than two hours.
