Lisa’s Easter Plans “The Press” Special Service DUNEDIN. Lisa, which has engagements at both Riverton and; Riccarton, will do her Easter j racing at the Canterbury; Jockey Club’s meeting. She I will be riden by E. J. Didham; in the £2.00 Great Easter Handicap on Monday. Mrs W. L. Cameron's Faux Tirage mare has developed into one of the best sprinters at Wingatui and will strengthen the claims of local horses in the feature sprint. Captain’s Command, Middyarid Warfare are other strong candidates for this event. Captain’s Command has done well since racing at the Wellington autumn meeting last month where he won the Railway Handicap. He was sprinted five furlongs between races at Beaumont on Saturday and on an easy track recorded slightly more than lmin 3sec for the distance. The smart Messmate colt, Middy, is at the top of his form and will again be ridden by the promising Riccarton apprentice, J. A. Messent, who will also have the ride on Middy’s stablemate Shoelace. The trainer, A. N. Didham, said yesterday that Modern Imp, winner of the Great Easter last year, would not start. He had been troubled by a wind affliction and had been racing disappointingly. A. N. Didham’s team— Royal Estate, Dunsun, Dervic, Underwood Lass and Spanish Fox—-will leave for Riccarton on Thursday.
