Contributions To Relief Funds
A sum of £6O was raised during the year by the Lin-wood-Avonside sub-centre -of the Red Cross Society. Many knitted articles were sent to the Christchurch centre. Five pounds were given to the sanatorium at Inchon, £3 3s for Chilean disaster relief and £lO for Samoan hurricane relief.

Alington; knitting supervisor, Mrs F. Ede; bring and buy sales, Mrs J. Palmer; afternoon tea convener, Miss H. Alington; liaison officer civil defence, Mrs L. Crampton; auditor, Mr F. J. Murray.
