N.Z. Retread Manager After more than sev years overseas, Mr R. Thomson has returned > Christchurch to take up t) appointment of New Ze land manager of retrea operations. Mr Thomsc joined the company afu the war, and spent aboi eight years at the Pa pan i factory. He travelled to th United States where h spent a year at the heaoffice of the company ' Akron, Ohio. From Akron, Mr Thomsoi was posted to Buenos Aires w’here he was the technical manager for almost five years. He next moved to Port Elizabeth in South Africa, where he held the same position for a year and a half. Although his borne town is Gore, Mr Thomson said that his new appointment is as good as coming home.
