Escapers Caught
(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, March 30. Two youths who escaped from the Waipiata Youth Centre about midnight on Monday were captured by Oamaru police at Hampden, 22 miles south of Oamaru about 2.30 p.m. today. They are David Neil Walker and Owen Robert Keane, both aged 17. A woman had reported seeing the youths in Hampden about 1 p.m. They were found in a haystack near the road and offered no resistance. They were brought to Dunedin and will appear in the Magistrate’s Court tomorrow.
