N.C.C. Women’s Group
The church in the community will be the theme of a twoday inter-church school to be conducted by the Christchurch women’s committee of the National Council of Churches next Tuesday and Wednesday at the Salvation Army Citadel, said the chairman of the committee, Mrs N. R. Tunnicliffe. More than 250 are expected to attend the school, which will start at 10 a.m. and end at 2.30 p.m. each day. The church and family, church and local community, and the church in the communities of our neighbours in Asia will be discussed by speakers, among whom will be Mrs S. Woods, Mr B. Smyth o fthe Good Samaritan Society, and Mis s P. Morrison, the national secretary of the Y.W.C.A.
