Offer By Hotels
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 23. The Hotel Association of New Zealand would undertake to notify the Department of Industries and Commerce before recommending ainy material change in the bar prices of beer or spirits or in the price of flagon beer, Mr R. B. Cooke, Q.C. (for the association) said at the Trade Practices and Prices Commission's hearing today. He said the undertaking was offered whether or not the association could be asked: to give it and notwithstanding that the “trade practice” which was the subject of the present inquiry appeared to be only the particular price recommendations made t in June, 1965, Mr Cooke said.
