Soccer Xis To Nelson
The Canterbury senior and under-18 soccer teams will play their first representative matches of the season at Nelson on Easter Monday (April 11). Confirmation of the acceptance of the games was received yesterday by the Canterbupr FA. from the Nelson association. The selector of the under--18 team, Mr R. Storer, said last evening that the team will go into training at Cowles Stadium on Sunday morning. “I am expecting more nominations from clubs for the under-18 team, and it is these players I want to see at Cowles Stadium so that we can get down to concentrated training under the provincial coach, Mr R. C. Carter,” said Mr Storer.
