Codelfa To Meet F.O.L.
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, March 24. Representatives from the Italian construction combine, Codelfa, which is favoured to win Tongariro power tunnel contracts worth £2O million, will hold talks with the Federation of Labour in Auckland tomorrow morning. The F.O.L. president (Mr T. E. Skinner) said today that the discussions would be exploratory. They would be to advise the Italians of the conditions and regulations laid down by the F.O.L. for the introduction of their labour into New Zealand.
The Italian party will be led by Dr. M. Barendson, promotion manager of Codelfa.
