RESEARCH AT SEA
Australians Invited
(IV.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY, March 22. Two Sydney University scientists will join an American scientific expedition to cany out research on the nervous systems of marine creatures. One of the many mysteries they will try to solve is how jelly fish and other sightless marine creatures find their way about.
The two Sydney scientists will work with the American team for three months. They are Professor W. R. Burke and Dr. R. W. Rodieck of the faculty of physiology. They accepted an invitation to join America’s latest “floating laboratory,” the research ship Alpha Helix, on its maiden voyage.
