MELBOURNE, Mar. 23
The Royal Victorian Institute of Architects wants an inquiry or Royal Commission into the construction so far of the Sydney Opera House. It called today for the inquiry as a result of a general meeting in Melbourne last night. The institute resolved that this was the proper course to be taken in view of the events which led up to the resignation of Joern Utzon, the architect. The meeting carried a motion endorsing efforts of the institute’s N.S.W. chapter to reconcile Mr Utzon and the N.S.W. Government.
