LONSDALE SCHOLARS
The Lonsdale Scholarship Committee of the CanterburyEducation Board has awarded 1966 Scholarships to the following:— Canterbury: Warner Maurice Saville. Burnside High School: Colin Eric Sutherland. Rangiora High School: Russell Hugh Woolcock. Christchurch West High School. Nelson: Nicholas John Campion, Waimea College: John Robert Cretney, Waimea College: Antony John Fraser. Takaka District High School and Christchurch Boys’ High School. These scholarships are worth £75 a vear for three years and are tenable at the University of Canterbury. These awards bring the total number of current Lonsdale Scholarships to 16. seven of which are held by Nelson and nine by Canterbury.
