Gay Goodwin, at surprisingly good odds, had an easy victory in the Goldfields Handicap, the first leg of the T.A.B. double at the Thames Trotting Club’s meeting at Alexandra Park last night. The second leg, the Raceway Handicap, proved easy for the hot favourite and off-course substitute, Misty Prince, which cleared out on the turn for a clear-cut win.
