Barbuda’s Time Best
Barbuda, a three-year-old gelding by Morano from Three Star owned and trained by G. Holmes at Templeton, recorded the fastest time of 3.20 among the eight horses to qualify at Addington Raceway yesterday. The first three to finish in the first two heats recorded the required 3.23 or better for 12 furlongs, but only two managed the time in the other heatResults:—

Third Heat.— Flight Adorian It A. M. Purdon 1; Hal’s Belle It D. C. Watts 2; Quambatook It I. R. Jones 3; Willow Brae It L. M. Ormandy 4. Nine lengths, 12 lengths, four lengths. Times—3:2o 3-5, 3:23. 3:23 3-5, 3:27 2-5.
