Christchurch South Pigeon Club
The Christchurch South Pigeon Club held a race from Picton to Christchurch, a distance of 175 miles. Eight members entered 31 birds.
Results, with times, were: H. Courtier, shr 2min 41sec: R. Wallace, 5:3:9; J. Turner, 5:3:36: F. Thyme, 5:4:6: E. Courtier, 5:4:9: W. Ewart, 5:10:7; J. Jamieson, 6:48:40.
