£6m. FOR LOAN
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 3. Subscriptions of £6,600,000 have been invested so far in the Government’s third internal cash loan which opened on February 14. Announcing this in a statement today, the Minister of Finance (Mr Lake), said: “This is a very good response to a Government loan at this late stage in the financial year.”
The loan—which closes on March 4— is open to unlimited subscriptions.
