The University of Indonesia has been closed temporarily as from today and placed under the Djakarta Military Command, Radio Djakarta reported. • The radio, monitored in Singapore, said the university had been closed by the Minister for Higher Learning and Sciences, Dr. Leimena, because there was “no peace and security” in the students’ daily life.
