University Rolls
Sir, —1 should advise Mr Bain not to lose any sleep over student numbers in 1970. By 1970, the council may have unlimited funds at its disposal, more qualified staff than it needs, the latest and best in equipment, and the Stars and Stripes flying over the campus at Ham. American universities like California and Minnesota,. of 40,000-odd students, all seem to run very smoothly. To limit our graduates would be to limit our national progress and expansion.—Yours, etc., NEW ZEALANDER. March 2. 1966.
