Cottage Sold For £1370
A modernised cottage and two sheds on a section of 20 perches at 8 York street, Opawa, was sold for £1370 at public auction yesterday. The property was offered on account of the estate of Zygmunt Krall by Mr E. G. Keenan
The cottage has three bedrooms, living room, kitchenette, and bathroom. The Government valuation is £l2OO.
The opening bid was £lOOO. There were six bids of £5O, two of £25, and two of £lO. A two-bedroomed cottage and 27 acres of land at Lincoln has been sold by the National Mortgage and Agency Company of New Zealand, Ltd., on account of Messrs R. H. and B. B. Moir. The property was passed in at £6250 when offered at auction recently.
