Market Again Eases As Trading Starts

Trading resumed its easier trend when New Zealand share markets opened for the week yesterday. Stocks traded ranged more widely than on any Monday this year. New Zealand issues caused most of the decline; overseas stocks were almost steady.

Some recoveries were made. South British moved up 3d to 30s 9d, N.Z. Forest Products Id to 21s lid and Rothmans 3d more to 23s 9d. Enzlon fell 2d to 2s 3d and 1.C.1. (N.Z.) Id to 20s. Key Australian stocks improved with rises by Ampol, 8.H.P., G. J. Coles, L. J. Hooker and Woolworths.
