PRIMARY RACES

The primary schools in the eastern zone of Christchurch held their annual swimming sports in the Central Brighton baths. Abbreviations used in the following results are:—Aranul; C., Central Brighton; Con., Convent; F., Freeville; N., North New Brighton; S., South Brighton; W., Wainoni. North won the interschool competition with 425 points, from Central Brighton with 39i and Aranul with 22. Central Brighton won both the senior and junior relays.
