Nkrumah Departs
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter —Copyright) PEKING, Feb. 28. Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, the deposed Ghanaian President, left Peking today in a special plane of Aeroflot, the Soviet airline. He was seen off by the Chinese head of State, Mr Lui Shao-chi, the Prime Minister, Mr Chou En-lai, and the Soviet Ambassador. This led observers to believe he was going to Moscow. But his destination was kept secret.
