Study To Be Made f.V.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. Feb. 10. The extent and causes of juvenile crime in New Zealand will be examined this year by the social science section of the Royal Society of New Zealand. A group of experts will address the society at a series of public meetings in Wellington from March 16 to September 14 All points raised would be open for general discussion, the secretary of the section. Mr P. J. R. Blizzard, said today. “Juvenile delinquents are found not only in the homes of the economically deprived and the educationally underprivileged,” he said. “An increasing proportion is coming from the homes of the well-provided-for.” The principal aim behind the scheme was to present the most up-to-date information on juvenile delinquency as was being expressed in New Zealand, Mr Blizzard said.
