N. Canterbury Programme
c The North Canterbury Racing Club will provide £2350 in stakes for its meeting at Rangiora on Friday, April 1. This meeting was given to : North Canterbury as one of the dates surrendered this [season by the Greymouth ■Jockey Club. The main race at the North Canterbury meeting will be the President’s Handicap, of £6OO, over one mile and a quarter. The open sprinters will race at six furlongs for £4OO. The programme, which has been approved by the Canterbury district committee, also includes a two-year-old race.
