FREEZER STUDY
Unit At Works (N.Z. Press Association) HAMILTON, Feb. 9. A refrigeration research unit is being installed at Horotiu freezing works by the Meat Industry Research Institute.
' The only one of its kind in J New Zealand, the unit has been constituted for experimental purposes and will open the w r ay for research on many aspects of meat refrigeration. The institute has received £5OOO subsidy from the Government, and £lO.OOO will come from the meat industry. The cost is expected to be about £15.000. Mr N. H. Law. the director said the purpose of the unit was to carry out research, so it could advise the industry how to process and store its produce and maintain quality.
