Voice—And Work
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. The Auckland Athletic Centre would welcome the idea of athletes having a direct voice on administration provided they were prepared to back up their voice with a bit of work, the centre president, Mr R. W. Cheater, said yesterday. Mr Cheater was commenting on a report that a move was under way to form such an athletes’ association so that athletes could have direct representation at meetings.
