U.K. Soccer Probe
Crspdt. N.Z.P.A.) LONDON. A research team has been engaged for the last four months on the most extensive and detailed analysis ever carried out in English professional soccer.
The team, which is expected to produce a draft report in April, has been probing the attendances and receipts of every football league club for each year from 1950.
Their report will provide massive statistical data and information, trends and graphs. It is expected to be more detailed and revealing than a similar survey ordered by the English League a few years ago.
One of the early results of the survey has shown that economically the future looks set for senior regional leagues, with one all-dominant super league.
