Two Houses Sold
Offered on account of the estate of Gertrude Emma Wigglesworth, a modern bungalow of roughcast block at 167 Harewood road, was sold for £4125 at public auction yesterday. The auctioneer was Mr N. H. McCrostie.
The house, on a section of 33.2 perches held under a Christ's College lease at £l2 10s a year, has a lounge, two bedrooms, dining room, sunroom, kitchenette - dinette, bathroom and laundry. A bungalow at 136 Memoral avenue was passed in at £3950. The auctioneer was Mr G. H. Kissel! The house has three bedrooms, sunroom, lounge, and kitchenette. There are also fowlhouses and a double garage on the section of 34.7 perches. A house at 17 Kauri street. Riccarton, has been sold byprivate treaty by Binns, Barber. and Keenan, Ltd. The property was passed in at £6750 when offered at auction recently.
