(From the London Correspondent of “The Press"). Miss Paddy Frost, a 29-year-old actress from Christchurch who has been appearing in the West End musical “Robert and Elizabeth.” has acepted a part in the Royal Shakespeare Company production of “A Comedy of Errors” which will tour New Zealand.

She became interested in a trip home last year when Mr Richard Campion visited London, and was now delighted at the prospect of the tour, said Miss Frost. In “Comedy of Errors” she will play the Courtesan. Paddy Frost attended Canterbury University, and played in repertory and openair theatre in Christchurch

before joining the New Zealand Players, where she be-

On leaving RA.D.A. at the end of 1959, Miss Frost launched herself into a most successful theatrical career in Britain.

She played with Sir Donald Wolfit and others in Cecil Beaton’s “Landscape With Figures”, on a tour which included the Dublin Festival, gained experience with the Newcastle, Northampton and Buxton repertory companies,

understudied in the West End revue “One Over the Eight,” andi obtained glowing reviews for her performance as Polly Garter in a revival of “Under Milk Wood” by Dylan Thomas at the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre.

Miss Frost has played in a farce for Brian Rix, has had several television roles, and taken part in the satirical late night revue “The Establishment.”

She also played the comedy lead in a touring show of the musical “How To Succeed In Business . . before taking her present part in the successful “Robert and Elizabeth.”

The young actress’s favourite hobby is collecting antiques.

“I like wandering into junk shops, and going over to the Portobello Road market,” she said.
