BROTHER SECRETARIES.—A rather unique meeting took place in Melbourne during the second test between England and Australia recently. It was a meeting of the secretaries of the M.C.C., the Australian Board of Control for International Cricket, and the New Zealand Cricket Council. The men are, from left, Messrs S. C. Griffith (M.C.C.), A. R. Barnes (Australia) and R. G. Knowles (New Zealand). Mr Griffith is managing the M.C.C. team and Mr Knowles was with a party from the Canterbury Cricket Supporters’ Club.
