Soldier’s Body Found
(N Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Jan. 28. The body of the New Zealand soldier serving with the Ist Battalion, Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment, in Malaysia, who yesterday was reported missing, believed drowned, has been recovered in the area south of Kuala Trengganu where he disappeared. He was Sapper Waitawhiti Toni, Royal New Zealand Engineers, the son of Mr and Mrs Thompson Toni, of Opotiki. The body is being flown to the Terendak Military Hospital.
