BURSARY FOR OVERSEAS STUDY, 1966 THE New Zealand Crippled Children Society offers a bursary at the rate of £BOO per annum plus a return tourist class air fare to provide for up to one year's full-time advanced study overseas in, one of the fields associated with the health, education or general welfare of crippled children. Applications for an award tenable for up to IB months in the United Kingdom, the United States, and/or other countries are invited from male or female physiotherapists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, teachers and other persons with recognised professional qualifications who hate completed at least three years' professional service and who are engaged, or propose to engage, in work with crippled children. It Is a condition of the award that the bursar shall give at least three years’ service to crippled children in his or her own professional field on return to New Zealand. The bursar will be required to enter into an agreement with the society and and must also procure some person approved by the society to enter into a bond. The award will be subject to the candidate passing a medical examination. Application forms may be obtained from the Secretary, N.Z. Crippled Children Society, Conference Chambers, Farlsh street.
