The curriculum will be shaped, in part, to make best use of the special abilities of persons appointed. So far. only the Professor of Political Theory and Institutions, Professor D. C. Corbett (whose specialised interests are in Public Administration and South and South-east Asia politics), and one Tutor have been appointed. Applications are invited for positions as Lecturers or Senior Lecturers from persons having special interests in any aspects of Politics but, other things being equal, preference will be given to an applicant with special knowledge of the politics of the Soviet Union and/or other Communist countries or an applicant with special knowledge of International Relations. The University of Adelaide at Bedford Park is an academically autonomous campus of the University of Adelaide situated on a new site about seven miles south of the city of Adelaide. Academic work at the University is organised in Schools of Language and Literature. Social Sciences. Physical Sciences and Biological Sciences. Teaching will begin at Bedford Park in March, 1966. and new buildings to house the four academic schools, library and the union have now been completed. It is hoped that the successful applicants will be able to take up duty in 1966 but the actual date may be arranged after appointment.
